About- IAAE
Indiana Association of Agricultural Educators is the professional organization for agricultural educators throughout the state. IAAE provides its members professional development and advocates for their members as needed. Sponsors will have the opportunity to meet and talk with educators motivated to improve agricultural education in the state of Indiana. Over 300 Indiana agricultural educators and stakeholders will participate in the conference.

Educator Resources
Calling all agriculture teachers to check out our educator resources! Let us know if you find resources that could be added as well. Check back often as we keep growing this page.

Become A Teacher
Agriculture teachers never have the same day twice. One day they might be in a classroom or laboratory, the next visiting students in the field, preparing teams for a FFA Career Development Event, or leading a community service activity with their FFA Chapter.

Check out our new Grow with Us website for more information about what it is like to teach agriculture!

Mentorship
Through a Lilly Endowment grant a mentorship program for beginning Indiana Agriculture teachers was re-established. Mentoring Indiana Beginning Agriculture Teachers (MI-BAT) connects beginning teachers with experienced mentors. It also provides professional development and other opportunities. For more information, contact the MI-BAT coordinator at mentorship@inffa.org

Supervised Agricultural Experience (SAE)
Supervised Agricultural Experience (SAE) is designed to provide students with work-based learning experiences in the agriculture field(s) in which they are interested. Students should experience and apply what is learned in the classroom, laboratory, and training site to real-life situations. Students work closely with their agriculture teacher(s), parents, and/or employers to develop experiences with predefined AFNR standards and Career Ready Practices aligned to a career plan of study.
