About
The Indiana State Fair is the Indiana FFA’s opportunity to showcase the tremendous accomplishments of our top members and chapters from around the state. The exhibit, encompassing over 25,000 square feet, is one of the fair’s most popular attractions with over 200,000 people coming through the doors each year. The farm animal wing, miniature golf course, interactive children’s play areas, and the Country Market bring the public inside the FFA Pavilion. By incorporating FFA and agriculture education throughout our activities the Indiana FFA Association is able to entertain and educate at the same time, a win-win for all involved.
Indiana’s FFA chapters provide the needed workforce to develop the exhibit the two weeks preceding the fair’s opening day. Chapters and members can also contract with the Indiana FFA Association to provide specific materials for the exhibit to showcase FFA and agriculture education in the best way possible. Items can include, but are not limited to, landscape materials, chapter exhibit pictures, and proficiency pictures. All landscape materials should be approved by state staff before bringing to the fair in order to assure a balance of plant material.
